Clearview Auto & Home (“Clearview,” “we,” “us”) provides mobile auto and residential glass services in Ventura County and surrounding areas. This policy explains what information we collect through clearviewautoandhome.com, by phone, and by email, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, call, or email us, we collect what you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, details about your project, and any photos you attach.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and the services it uses collect technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site (for example, by clicking an ad). This is collected using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request, prepare a quote, schedule service, and follow up about your job.
• To communicate with you by phone, text, or email about your request, as you agreed to on our quote form.
• To understand which of our ads and pages lead to inquiries, so we can improve our advertising and website.
• To keep our website secure and prevent spam or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the photos you send for anything other than preparing your quote and completing your service.

Advertising and measurement

We use Google Ads to advertise our services and to measure when someone who clicked one of our ads contacts us. To do this, our website uses the Google tag, which may set cookies on your device.

When you submit our quote form, we use a Google Ads feature called enhanced conversions. Your email address and phone number are converted in your browser into a scrambled, one-way code (a “hash”) before being sent to Google. Google uses this code only to match the inquiry to an ad interaction and report results to us; it is not used to reveal your contact details to us or others.

Service providers we use

• Netlify hosts our website and securely receives and stores quote form submissions, including attached photos.
• Google provides advertising and measurement (Google Ads), and the fonts used on our site (Google Fonts).
• YouTube serves the videos on some pages. A video loads, and YouTube may set cookies, only after you click to play it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as needed to serve you, answer warranty or follow-up questions, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We delete information we no longer need.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing or calling us using the details below. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under privacy law; we will honor requests as required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for making one.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions are stored with our hosting provider rather than sent by unencrypted email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
